What would you do? • The Trade Payments Specialist is accountable for leading and supervising the end-to-end trade payment operations across wholesale and retail channels. This role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency by providing strategic oversight and approval for adjustments, accruals, reconciliations, and payment execution. • You will act as the key decisionmaker for approving high-value adjustments, validating payment calculations, and ensuring adherence to internal control frameworks, including SOX compliance. This role will be responsible for maintaining governance over approval matrices, monitoring risk exposure, and ensuring audit readiness through robust documentation and process controls. • In addition to operational oversight, the manager drives continuous improvement initiatives by identifying systemic gaps, implementing automation solutions, & enhancing process efficiency. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, territory managers, finance controllers, IT teams, & external partners to resolve discrepancies, manage stakeholder expectations, & uphold service-level agreement
What are we looking for? • At least 7-11 years in a leading or similar role, preferably in finance operations and trade payment processes. Experience to work in 3rd Party culture, improve processes to provide more effective results• Effective communication and interpersonal Skills, ability to work under pressure, and analytical thinking. • Advanced Excel skills for calculations and reconciliations, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook). Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and SharePoint. Familiarity with SOX controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements• Ensure a robust environment which supports agreed customer service levels. Extensive use of Financial and Management applications which support financial and Management Information analysis. • Build the capabilities of the team to grow the level of competency across technical and business environments in line with strategic information delivery direction • Work with Engagement Partners to align information delivery approach and service levels with business priorities and direction, maximizing the relevance and value of the information service to the achievement of business objectives
Roles and Responsibilities: • •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor• May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside• Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture• Strong analytical ability to handle large datasets and perform reconciliations. • Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure zero variance in payments. • Ability to identify process gaps and suggest automation or improvements
