About the role:  

The On-Call Security Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day safety and security operations of the resort. This role protects guests, employees, visitors, and company assets through visible security presence, patrols, investigations, incident documentation, and emergency response. This position is part of the Security team and reports to Security Leadership. 

  

What you will do: 

• Patrol interior and exterior areas of the resort to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property 

• Monitor resort activity and investigate unusual situations, security concerns, and safety hazards 

• Respond to guest and employee incidents, including accidents, lock issues, disturbances, and emergency situations 

• Provide professional assistance to guests and employees during emergencies and unexpected incidents 

• Conduct safety inspections throughout the resort and identify opportunities to improve workplace safety 

• Monitor CCTV systems and review security footage when required 

• Support access control, key control, alarm systems, and fire protection systems 

• Document incidents, investigations, accidents, and security-related activities accurately and objectively 

• Assist with implementing resort emergency procedures, including fire, life safety, and evacuation protocols 

• Collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies when necessary 

• Assist with VIP escorts and special security arrangements 

• Support guest service by providing directions, assistance, and information when appropriate 

• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies, power failures, safety concerns, and natural disasters 

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the resort while providing professional and courteous service 

• Support special events and operational needs as assigned 

 

What you bring: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Previous security experience in a hotel, resort, luxury hospitality, law enforcement, military, or related environment preferred 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emergency situations 

• Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities 

• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports and documentation 

• CPR, First Aid, or related safety certifications preferred 

• Ability to operate security systems, CCTV equipment, radios, and computer systems 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety 

• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with leadership and colleagues 

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Schedule & Hours: 

• On-call schedule based on business needs 

• Availability to work mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
