Sr Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Kochi, India | IQVIA Job

• Oracle PL/SQL Developer (G140):
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts.
  • Build and support data warehouse and data mart solutions.
  • Analyze source systems and create data mapping and transformation logic.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets.
  • Perform data quality validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Design dimensional models, fact tables, and reporting structures.
  • Automate data loads and scheduling workflows using tools such as Airflow or enterprise schedulers.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
  • Provide production support and resolve ETL performance issues.
  • Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and support procedures.
  • Technical Skills
    • Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/23AI or later)
    • Advanced SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
    • ETL and Data Warehousing concepts
    • Performance tuning and query optimization
    • Data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
    • Oracle packages, triggers, views, and stored procedures
    • Unix/Linux scripting
    • Data quality and data validation techniques
    • Version control tools such as Git
    • Scheduling tools such as Airflow, Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent
  • Preferred Skills
    • Oracle AI/Oracle 23AI or 26AI capabilities
    • Python/Gen AI for automation
  • Experience
    • 6-10+ years of experience in Oracle development and ETL projects.
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data warehouse implementations.
    • Experience integrating data from multiple source systems and performing complex transformations.
