Four Seasons Hotel Prague, a market leader in the hospitality industry is looking for a talented PEOPLE & CULTURE GENERALIST to join our P&C team as a fifth member.

YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

A special talent and passion for people and all related HR areas. Solid knowledge of labor law, enjoy working with data and systems;  and a career plan to kickstart your career in the HR field, this is the place to be.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES IN DETAIL:

  • Provide HR administrative services (labor contracts, amendments, input for payroll etc.).
  • Operate as first point of contact for HR -related queries for managers and employees.
  • Maintain employees’ files.
  • Compensation and Benefits administration.
  • Responsibility for HR Systems.
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
  • Communication with external organizations (labor offices, social offices, labor safety inspectorates, etc.).
  • Conduct ad hoc reviews as directed and propose recommendations in handling employment legislation, compliance, HR systems, practices and procedures and, with guidance, provide support and education to line management.
  • Develop and document suggestions for new and improved processes including ideas regarding automated tools and/or procedural policies.
  • Participate as assigned, with minimal supervision, in working with senior HR team members in the day-to-day development and implementation of new local and global HR initiatives.
  • Provide reports and analyses as requested by senior management.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
  • Czech/Slovak language, English language, another language would be an advantage.
