Sr Murex Developer - MEA Tech - Petaling Jaya, Plaza 33 | Accenture Job

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Murex Developer with 6–9 years of experience in Murex Front Office (FO) and Back Office (BO) modules. The role will be responsible for Murex development, enhancement, integration, troubleshooting, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Murex platform and a good understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and enhance solutions within Murex FO and BO modules.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective Murex solutions.
Develop and maintain Murex functionalities supporting the front-to-back trade lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including production incidents and defects.
Perform impact analysis and root-cause analysis for system issues.
Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and other technology teams to deliver Murex solutions.
Support system integration, testing, deployment, and release activities.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis, investigation, and troubleshooting using SQL Server 2012.
Provide production support and ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills:
6–9 years of relevant experience in Murex development.
Strong hands-on experience with Murex FO and BO modules.
Good understanding of Murex trade lifecycle processes and front-to-back integration.
Experience in application development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and production support.
Strong SQL skills with experience using SQL Server 2012.
Experience working in a Windows Server 2012 environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with business and technical teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in Treasury Operations.
Knowledge of Trade Simulation.
Experience with Trade P&L.
Knowledge of Derivatives Pricing and Valuation.
Understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and trading products.
Experience working in a banking or investment banking environment.
Murex implementation, upgrade, or migration experience.
