Job Description
The Business Technology Analyst serves as the primary technology subject-matter expert for the Empower platform, supporting business operations through research, analysis, troubleshooting, testing, release coordination, and ongoing system support. This role partners with production support and business stakeholders to investigate system issues, identify trends, communicate impacts, and help ensure the team is prepared for platform changes and monthly releases.
The analyst also supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of new or revised systems and processes. The role compiles and analyzes detailed information, provides recommendations based on findings, and maintains procedures affected by system or process changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact and technology subject-matter expert for Empower-related needs.
- Triage and research system issues, troubleshoot problems, and coordinate resolution with production support.
- Analyze issue patterns and trends to identify recurring concerns and potential impacts.
- Coordinate testing for monthly releases and platform updates, including assessing impacts and supporting readiness activities.
- Communicate system changes, release impacts, testing status, and readiness requirements to team members and leadership.
- Provide project and release support through research, analysis, review, development, implementation, and monitoring of new or revised systems.
- Manage multiple concurrent testing, triage, release, and update-related priorities.
- Own or coordinate procedure updates resulting from Empower changes and maintain procedures for other assigned processes when needed.
- Develop project release recommendations based on detailed and interpretive analysis.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of direct experience, or three to five years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience supporting the Empower platform or a similar business technology platform.
- Experience partnering with production support teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience creating, updating, or maintaining procedures and process documentation.
- Experience coordinating release testing and business readiness activities
- Demonstrated experience with business technology support, systems analysis, production support, or a related function.
- Experience researching and troubleshooting system or process issues.
- Experience supporting system testing, releases, implementations, or platform updates.
- Ability to analyze reporting, identify trends, and communicate findings.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide routine updates to team members and leadership.
- Ability to work through competing demands and high-volume issue activity.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $55,760.00 - $65,600.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
