Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Site QA Inspector to join our Owner’s Advisor team supporting the Medical Enlisted Training Campus (METC) Recapitalization Program at Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston. This mission-critical initiative will deliver five modern dormitory facilities for up to 6,000 joint-service medical students and the associated infrastructure.

Working alongside government leaders, military stakeholders, designers, and contractors, you will help manage risk, protect the government’s interests, and support the successful delivery of a high-profile Progressive Design-Build program. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark campus, advance innovative delivery methods, and help shape the future of large-scale Air Force infrastructure programs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide independent owner-side quality assurance for buildings, module installation, utilities, and civil infrastructure. Assignments will be tailored to the active work fronts and the inspectors’ verified trade qualifications.
  • Observe assigned work against approved drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and documented acceptance criteria.
  • Witness required tests and inspections within qualifications; verify readiness before concealment or dependent work.
  • Inspect module receipt, damage, alignment, connections, and field interfaces relevant to the assigned discipline.
  • Record daily quantities, activities, photographs, test results, constraints, and quality observations in approved systems.
  • Identify nonconforming work, document affected locations, and verify authorized corrective actions and reinspection.
  • Observe safety and environmental conditions, promptly report concerns, and support punch lists and turnover verification.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of construction inspection, QA/QC, or relevant trade experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in at least one needed discipline: structural/concrete, architectural/enclosure, mechanical/plumbing, electrical, or civil/utilities.
  • Ability to read construction documents, produce clear digital inspection records, and perform field observations using required PPE.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to JBSA Fort Sam Houston.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, maintain accurate records, collaborate across disciplines, and handle project information in approved systems.
  • Ability to maintain a one team mentality amongst all stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Relevant associate’s/bachelor’s degree; federal project or modular installation experience.
  • Role-appropriate ICC, ACI, AWS, NICET, or equivalent inspection credentials; require specific credentials only for assigned duties.
