You are

A Senior Engineering Manager and Web Architect who shapes the technical direction of complex digital products while leading teams and owning delivery outcomes. You connect web architecture to APIs, cloud platforms, content systems, security, accessibility, and experience design. You move comfortably between architecture decisions, client leadership, people management, delivery governance, and hands-on technical guidance.

The work

• Own the end-to-end web architecture and technical delivery strategy for complex digital products and platforms.
• Lead and manage front-end or full-stack engineering teams, including work planning, delegation, coaching, performance support, and delivery accountability.
• Define target-state and solution architectures spanning web applications, design systems, APIs, cloud services, content platforms, identity, observability, and deployment pipelines.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical decision records, diagrams, standards, and implementation guidance.
• Evaluate and recommend frameworks, libraries, platform capabilities, and architecture patterns based on scale, performance, security, accessibility, maintainability, and business fit.
• Lead architecture reviews and engineering governance, ensuring teams follow agreed patterns and resolve deviations deliberately.
• Partner directly with senior client stakeholders to clarify requirements, explain trade-offs, manage technical risk, and align roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Provide delivery leadership across estimates, scope, staffing, dependencies, release planning, quality, and escalation management.
• Guide implementation through design reviews, code reviews, prototypes, and hands-on technical intervention when required.
• Mentor technical leads and senior engineers, build architecture capability, and strengthen engineering practices across teams.
• Support pursuits by shaping solutions, estimating delivery, defining team models, and presenting technical approaches to clients.
• Drive responsible adoption of AI-assisted engineering and GenAI product capabilities with appropriate controls for security, privacy, testing, and maintainability.

Here's what you'll need

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial experience delivering enterprise web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering management, architecture leadership, or leadership of development teams and client deliveries.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript and at least one modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience defining architectures for single-page applications, server-side rendering, micro-frontends, design systems, API orchestration, and enterprise content platforms.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, cloud integration, identity and access management, web security, observability, performance, and resilience.
• Experience with responsive design, WCAG accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern build tooling.
• Demonstrated experience creating architecture documentation and communicating architecture decisions to engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience estimating and structuring complex delivery, managing technical risks and dependencies, and holding teams accountable for outcomes.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools within the software development lifecycle, with clear quality, security, and governance practices.

Bonus points if

• Experience with Next.js, Node.js or NestJS, Adobe Experience Manager, or another enterprise CMS or digital experience platform.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and containerized or serverless architectures.
• Experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, composable platforms, or headless architectures.
• Experience incorporating GenAI capabilities into customer or employee-facing products.
• Experience in consulting, digital agencies, product organizations, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with established architecture methods and documentation approaches.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
