Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance, troubleshooting complex scenarios, and collaborating with different teams to maintain service reliability and efficiency throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLC and enterprise APs
Strong expertise in Cisco ISE 802 1X RADIUS EAP and AAA
Configure and troubleshoot Guest Wi Fi using Foreign Anchor WLC architecture
Handle complex L3 L4 issues involving AP join CAPWAP roaming mobility authentication DHCP DNS and client connectivity
Troubleshoot wireless performance issues including RSSI SNR interference channel utilization and packet loss
Perform advanced troubleshooting using 9800 WLC CLI/debugs, ISE logs, and Wireshark.
Own major incidents, RCA, problem management, and technical escalations
Coordinate with LAN, Firewall, Security, and IAM teams for end-to-end issue resolution
Support wireless changes, upgrades, migrations, and new deployments

Professional and Technical Skills
Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Wireless Technologies Operations.
Cisco Catalyst 9800 Cisco ISE Enterprise Wi Fi Guest Anchor WLC 802 1X RADIUS Wireless Mobility Roaming Wireshark Advanced Troubleshooting
Preferred CCNP Enterprise Wireless CWNA Cisco Catalyst Center DNAC experience
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to wireless systems.

The candidate should have minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in Wireless Technologies Operations
This position is based at our Gurugram office
