Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for an Assistant Director of Housekeeping who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Assistant Director of Housekeeping reports to the Director of Housekeeping and manages the staff and controls the activities of the Housekeeping Department assuring that our Guest Rooms, Public Areas and Employee Areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Direct the efforts of the Laundry/Valet Department.

What you will do:

• Manages the staff of the Housekeeping Department.
• Resolves guest concerns and interacts with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Establishes detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance programs to ensure appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Interviews, trains and schedules the housekeeping staff, as well as conducts performance evaluations and corrective interviews as needed.
• Responds properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.
• Works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.

What you will bring:

• A college degree required in hospitality management or equivalent degree.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a supervisory role in Rooms Division. 
• Passionate and motivated leader, with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• A demonstrated ability to lead a multicultural team is essential, as well as a solid business acumen and a passion for service.
• Strong training and supervisory skills are essential in this role.
• Good written and spoken English skills are essential, as is computer proficiency with MS Excel and Word.
• Laundry experience is a plus.

Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
