About the Role:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is hiring for a part-time Pastry cook.As our pastry chef, you will be responsible for the management of the pastry section of the kitchen in the Hotel or Resort. You'll also have the opportunity to provide our guests with a selection of delicious pastry choices and fresh bakery products on a daily basis and are all part of this exciting position. Team members in this role also work in a creative manner to consistently introduce innovative recipes and to develop your teams’ ability to produce a premium quality product is essential.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, chocolates and show pieces according to guest orders and banquet event orders 
• Ensure all dishes are in accordance with production requirements and quality standards 
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment  

What You Bring:

• A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers.
• At least 1 year experience working in a pastry kitchen. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  

What To Expect:

• Work a flexible, 40-hour weekly schedule that requires nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates can expect to work 2:30-11 p.m. daily.
• Work independently while managing multiple responsibilities in a professional setting that values organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Work in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, requiring adaptability, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
