Software Engineer II - OutSystems, ITC - INDIA TECHNOLOGY CENTER | Nike Job

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will join the ITC squad responsible for an enterprise workflow automation platform built on OutSystems 11 that supports Nike's Finance & Supply Chain processes. The platform runs on Azure infrastructure (IIS / .NET / C# / SQL Server) and integrates with enterprise systems including SAP, Coupa, Databricks, and other Nike platforms. 

You will work with a Product Owner, Senior Engineer, and a small engineering squad to build and support the platform end to end. You will contribute hands-on across workflows, screens, business logic, integrations, deployments, and production support. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with OutSystems 11 experience, or strong .NET / SQL Server experience with a clear interest in growing on OutSystems. You are excited to build and support a business-critical platform, write clean and maintainable code, debug issues calmly, and take ownership in a small team. 

Skillset Required 

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. 

• Hands-on OutSystems 11 experience strongly preferred — Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime, Service Center, BPT workflows, and the platform deployment model. 

• Strong C# / .NET development skills, including comfort working with Visual Studio and extension-style logic where OutSystems-native capabilities are not sufficient. 

• Strong T-SQL / SQL Server skills — query writing, stored procedures, schema understanding, basic tuning, and troubleshooting. 

• Working knowledge of Azure at a developer / operator level — VMs, SQL Server, Load Balancer, Log Analytics, Storage. 

• Solid grasp of enterprise integration patterns such as REST, SOAP, event-driven, and file-based integrations; SAP integration exposure is a plus. 

• Strong fundamentals in web application architecture, security, testing, deployment, and SDLC. 

• Familiarity with Azure Log Analytics / KQL, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow for operations and change management. 

• Hands-on with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Visual Studio for AI-assisted development. 

• Excellent communication; strong bias to action; comfortable learning complex platforms and owning ambiguity. 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 

• Design, develop, and maintain OutSystems modules for Finance & Supply Chain workflows such as invoice processing, customer master, returns, PO, royalty, billing, and vendor setup. 

• Build and maintain integrations with SAP, Coupa, Databricks, internal event streaming, and other enterprise systems. 

• Build or support C# / .NET extensions in Visual Studio where OutSystems-native capabilities are not sufficient. 

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with the documentation needed for long-term platform ownership. 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing, coding standards, and engineering quality. 

• Support the release process — peer review, UAT validation, production deployment via LifeTime and internal release tooling, ServiceNow change requests, validation, and rollback. 

• Participate in the platform's operational health — on-call support, incident response, post-incident reviews, and troubleshooting across OutSystems, IIS / .NET, SQL Server, and Azure. 

• Build and maintain durable platform documentation — module dependencies, integrations, deployment processes, runbooks, and onboarding notes. 

• Participate in agile ceremonies — refinement, planning, stand-ups, review, and retrospectives.
