Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 6–9 years of experience to support infrastructure operations within a Banking environment. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers, including SSL encryption and configuration. The role requires solid expertise in Unix/Linux environments and Shell scripting, along with a good understanding of Oracle databases, load balancers, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and operational support for application infrastructure in a Banking environment.

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic and/or JBoss application servers.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SSL certificates, encryption, and secure application-server communications.

• Perform application-server installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain Unix/Shell scripts to automate operational and infrastructure activities.

• Support infrastructure environments running on HP-UX, Linux, and Solaris.

• Investigate and resolve infrastructure, application-server, connectivity, and performance issues.

• Work closely with application, database, network, security, and other infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.

• Support activities involving Oracle databases, load balancers, and network connectivity.

Required Skills:

• 6–9 years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic and/or JBoss.
• Practical experience with SSL encryption, SSL certificates, and secure communications.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux administration.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell/Shell scripting.
• Experience working with HP-UX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Database.
• Understanding of Load Balancers and traffic distribution.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including connectivity, ports, protocols, and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience supporting Banking or other financial-services applications.
