About the role

The Engineer III is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel. This role supports the Engineering team in maintaining building systems, responding to guest service requests, and ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating at peak performance.

What you will do

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, fire & life safety, and mechanical systems

• Respond to emergency situations, including equipment failures, leaks, and other operational issues

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering storage areas, pump rooms, and chemical storage locations

• Support installation, relocation, and maintenance of hotel equipment and building systems

• Assist with renovation projects and equipment upgrades as needed

• Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support hotel operations

• Comply with Four Seasons standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in hospitality engineering, building maintenance, or a related field preferred

• Basic knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems

• Ability to operate computer systems and maintenance-related equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills through hands-on experience and professional certifications

• Desire to grow within the Engineering department and advance into future Engineering roles
