Senior / Lead Java Developer - Belvaux, Naos 1 | Accenture Job

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for a Senior / Lead Java Developer to join one of our client teams in Luxembourg within a public sector environment.

You will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise applications while providing technical guidance and ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and maintainability.

THE WORK:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.

• Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.

• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.

• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and development best practices.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to application performance and reliability.

• Provide technical guidance and support to other developers.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and other technical teams.

• Contribute to CI/CD and continuous improvement of development practices.

Onsite at client site: This role requires an onsite presence with our clients and partners to support project delivery and strengthen collaboration.

Our roles require in-person time to encourage collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Strong professional experience in Java development.

• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.

• Experience with enterprise application development and software architecture principles.

• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, testing, and code quality practices.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluency in English.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience with microservices, Docker, or Kubernetes.

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead or mentoring other developers.

• Experience working on large-scale public sector projects.
