About this role:
We are seeking a Data Management Director within the Chief Data Office (CDO) to lead the Data Use function within the Enterprise Data Governance team. This leader will oversee a team responsible for advancing critical data governance and risk management programs that enable trusted, well-governed data across the enterprise. The role provides strategic direction, prioritization, and execution oversight for functions including fit-for-purpose evaluations, model input control assurance, and permissible data use governance. Success in this role requires building strong partnerships across business, technology, and data domains to drive operating rigor, strengthen risk management practices, improve data transparency, and deliver automation and process optimization at scale. The leader will be accountable for developing team capabilities, influencing enterprise stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of key data management priorities that support regulatory, risk, and business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership for Data Use initiatives, making decisions to resolve complex, cross-functional challenges as well as ensure the efforts the team will execute foster adoption of Data Management requirements across the enterprise to support long-term enterprise data strategy.
- Ensure appropriate organizational design and resourcing, building and sustaining the right talent, skillsets, and structures to deliver on CDO priorities and commitments.
- Champion a culture of accountability and transparency, ensuring teams understand the “why” behind expectations and deadlines.
- Oversee resource and budget management, ensuring people and financial investments are aligned to strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Influence senior leadership decisions by providing data-driven insights on risks and strategies.
- Manage a global team including resources in both US and India.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Data Management, Business Research, Analytics, or Project Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience

- Analytical Thinking: Synthesizes data to inform decisions and balances innovation with practical execution.
- Management: Experience managing managers and building large high-performing teams, including global teams in India.
