Our Procurement Graduate role offers a structured, function-led development journey, providing the opportunity to build specialist procurement expertise across Asda's £2bn Goods Not for Resale (GNFR) spend portfolio.
Over two years, you'll complete four rotational placements across Procurement, gaining exposure to a diverse range of categories including Technology, Marketing, Logistics, Property, Corporate Services and Energy. The programme is designed to develop the commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills needed for a successful career in Procurement.
You'll gain practical experience across:
Strategic Sourcing
Supplier Relationship Management
Contract Management
Procurement Governance
Working alongside experienced procurement professionals, you'll support projects that deliver against Asda's strategic priorities, build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, and contribute to the ongoing transformation of our Procurement function.
You'll also spend time in one of our stores, giving you valuable insight into how Procurement decisions support our colleagues, customers and commercial performance.
As part of your development, you'll have the opportunity to work towards a professional qualification through the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS). With Procurement playing an increasingly strategic role within Asda, you'll join a team of industry experts who are passionate about delivering value, driving innovation and developing future talent.
Examples of responsibilities may include:
Supporting sourcing, tendering and procurement activities across a diverse range of spend categories.
Building, maintaining and developing effective relationships with suppliers and key business stakeholders.
Assisting with contract negotiations, supplier performance management and commercial reviews.
Analysing procurement and spend data to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and deliver cost efficiencies.
Contributing to procurement transformation, process improvement and strategic change initiatives.
Supporting procurement governance, policy compliance and risk management throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives and strategic priorities.
Developing category expertise across Technology, Marketing, Logistics, Property and Corporate Services.
Preparing high-quality reports, presentations and recommendations to support decision-making.
Supporting the delivery of sustainable, ethical and responsible sourcing initiatives.

We're looking for ambitious graduates who can demonstrate the leadership potential we need for the future. A degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related subject is preferred but not essential. More importantly, we're looking for individuals who are curious, eager to learn and able to demonstrate the right behaviours and mindset.
