Job Description

The PRISM Oversight Advocate partners with assigned Business Lines, Project Owners, Risk & Compliance partners in First & Second Line of Defense to support an effective product and business change risk management framework. This role guides business changes through the Business Change Intake Questionnaire (BCIQ) and Product Risk Management (PRISM) processes, helping ensure appropriate risk identification, stakeholder engagement, documentation, review, mitigation, and approval before implementation.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, balancing risk management requirements with business objectives and speed to market. This individual will assess complex changes, provide credible challenge, coordinate across the First and Second Lines of Defense, maintain accurate records in Archer, and proactively identify opportunities to improve governance, reporting, and process efficiency.

In office 3+days during the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on whether changes are eligible for the BCIQ and PRISM processes, clearly document the rationale for each decision.
  • Assess the overall risk and complexity of proposed changes, identify potential gaps, provide credible challenge, and recommend appropriate next steps or risk engagement.
  • Partner with project owners to obtain complete, accurate, and timely information needed to support risk review and approval.
  • Create, submit, and maintain BCIQ and PRISM records in Archer, including required documentation, attestations, acknowledgements, status updates, and supporting evidence.
  • Facilitate the progress of business changes through the BCIQ and PRISM lifecycle, from intake through implementation and post-implementation requirements.
  • Coordinate engagement with business-line risk partners, the PRISM Program Office, Risk & Compliance partners, and other impacted stakeholders.
  • Keep project owners and business-line stakeholders informed of status, requirements, decisions, dependencies, and next steps.
  • Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance routines to promote consistent, complete, and defensible risk decisions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, improve reporting, and strengthen the end-to-end change management experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of applicable experience in risk management, compliance, audit, product governance, change management, project management, financial services, or a related field.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
