As a System Validation Engineer specializing in Vehicle Testing (VIL), you will be responsible for validating complex systems directly within test vehicles. This role blends precise data engineering with hands-on field testing at customer sites (OEMs), internal facilities, and proving grounds. You will be a key link between development and the final product, ensuring the safety and reliability of our automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) Testing: Execute system tests at the SYS5 and VAL1 level across various environments, including internal facilities, Proving Grounds (TCs), and Open Road testing.
Technical Preparation:Manage ECU flashing (using Dediprog/Infineon tools) and ensure test vehicles are correctly set up for specific campaigns.
Analysis & Diagnostics: Perform trace analysis (.blf, .pcap) and monitor system communication using industry-standard tools like CANoe/CANape.
Requirements & Test Design:Review system requirements and create comprehensive Test Cases (TCs) within DOORS or Codebeamer.
Customer & OEM Collaboration: Work on-site at Customer/OEM facilities, performing joint testing with OEM engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Problem Solving:Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives using QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) methodologies to identify root causes and contribute to solutions.
Documentation & Reporting:Prepare clear technical documentation, including test reports, specifications, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Innovation & Efficiency:Adopt digital tools and scripts to enhance testing productivity and contribute to the identification of potentially patentable inventions.
Requirements
Must Have:
Driving Credentials:Valid B Category Driving License and Having an advanced driving certificate is a plus.
Vehicle Testing Experience:Proven experience in Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) testing.
Technical Tools:Proficiency in CANoe/CANape.
Data Analysis:Ability to analyze traces (.blf, .pcap) and perform hardware flashing (Dediprog/Infineon).
Requirements Management: Experience with DOORS or Codebeamer (for both RQ review and TC creation).
Flexibility:Ability and willingness to travel and work at various locations (Valeo sites, TCs, and OEM facilities) as required by the project.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with IPG CarMaker (including TC implementation).
Programming or scripting skills (CAPL, C, or Python) for test automation and debugging.
Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test execution.
Knowledge of automotive networking and experience with ticket tracking systems.
