& Wellness in overseeing the daily operations and development of the spa. This role ensures the spa delivers exceptional guest experiences aligned with Four Seasons' luxury standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
The Assistant Manager of Spa & Wellness fosters team morale, implements innovative solutions,and supports financial management, promotions, and events to ensure the spa remains a leader in thewellness industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Management
• Oversee all spa and salon areas, including Front Desk, Wellness & Fitness Facilities, Locker Rooms,
Relaxation Lounge, Treatment Rooms, and Retail spaces, ensuring they meet Four Seasons’ standards.
• Monitor equipment functionality and cleanliness, coordinating with housekeeping, laundry, and
engineering to address any issues promptly.
• Ensure the integration of spa operations with hotel services, aligning wellness trends and guest needs.
• Manage administrative duties, including requisitions, purchases orders, inventory control, and cost effective usage of spa-related products, adhering to budgets.
Team Leadership & Development
• Interview, train, and supervise spa employees, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to develop
staff professionally.
• Host regular staff meetings to share hotel updates, policies, and strategies for enhancing sales and
Service.
Guest Experience & Engagement
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by upholding the spa’s luxury service standards and responding
promptly to feedback.
• Coordinate group bookings and conduct on-site spa tours for meeting planners and VIPs.
• Represent the spa in external events and activities that align with its philosophy and enhance its
visibility.
• Create and implement innovative guest experience elements to ensure a memorable and industry leading guest journey.
Retail Management
• Manage retail operations, including creating purchase orders, organizing inventories, and ensuring
products align with guest preferences and spa themes.
• Analyze sales trends and collaborate with the Manager of Spa & Wellness to identify opportunities for
enhancing retail offerings
Financial & Strategic Support
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and tracking labor and expenses to maintain financial efficiency.
• Contributes to the planning and execution of PR events and internal and local promotions to drive guest
engagement and revenue.
Compliance & Standards
• Ensure adherence to Four Seasons’ Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Participate in internal standards testing and support various departments to maintain operational
excellence.
• Promote safety awareness and maintain a hazard-free environment for both staff and guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Passion for the health and wellness industry and knowledge of industry trends, products, technology,
and equipment.
• Commitment to luxury guest experiences and a drive to improve all areas of guest journey.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are
an asset.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop individuals and teams.
• Creativity and innovative thinking, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of hotel and spa software systems, enhancing operational efficiency.
• 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a club or spa setting.
• A degree in hospitality management, wellness, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
