Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. Collaboration with different teams to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of incidents is a key part of daily activities, contributing to the overall reliability of critical business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth incident management and resolution.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
- Continuously monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent downtime.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud DevOps Services.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration and cluster management.
- Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment automation.
- Ability to analyze logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve system issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Google Kubernetes Engine.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
