Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all components align effectively. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement in coordinating efforts to support a unified and efficient data platform environment, fostering strong communication and teamwork throughout the process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize data platform performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of data integration techniques and best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines.
- Familiarity with data governance and security principles.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex data platform issues.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our BDC4C - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
