The Role of Commis de Partie, Pastry
Reporting into the Executive Pastry Chef, you will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner food items per guest orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

Our Ideal Commis de Partie, Pastry candidate will have
High school diploma, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.

Minimum two years culinary or related work experience. Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.

You will have the ability to operate, maintain and properly clean including food processor, mixer, slicer, waffle iron and excalibur, oven, crepes iron, blast chiller, fridge and freezer and you will have proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.

You must have fluency in Italian.

This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must be open to work on a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
