Summary:
SAP MDG Technical Lead/Senior Consultant with strong ABAP, BRF, workflow, and data model enhancement experience for S/4HANA MDG implementations across Material and Business Partner domains.

Mandatory Skills:
Strong hands on experience in SAP MDG (S/4HANA)
ABAP (Core & Advanced)
BRF

Experience in:
Workflow configuration (rule-based)
Data model enhancements
BADI implementations

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. MDG Technical Development
Design and develop MDG solutions using ABAP, BRF, and SAP MDG framework
Enhance Data Models (MM, BP, Finance, Custom objects)
Develop and extend:
Change Requests (CRs)
UI configurations (FPM, CBA)
Data validation and derivation rules

Implement BADIs for:
Field control (mandatory/read-only/hidden)
UI enhancements
Data validations

2. Workflow & Rules:
Configure and enhance rule-based workflows (BRF)
Design:
Sequential / Parallel workflows
Agent determination logic
Work on SLA-driven workflow configurations

3. Data Governance & Quality
Implement validation, duplicate checks, and derivations aligned with MDG governance (AWS MDG BPD Word)
Support Data Quality Management (DQM) configurations
Enable consistent data replication across systems

4. Integration & Replication
Configure and troubleshoot:
DRF / replication framework
IDOCs / SOA services
Support integration with:
S/4HANA
EWM / downstream systems

5. Technical Objects & Enhancements
Develop RICEF objects:
Reports
Interfaces
Enhancements
Forms/workflows
Support:
Mass data processing
File upload programs
Custom utilities

6. Project Delivery

Prepare:
Technical design documents (TDD)
Unit test cases
Support:
Fit-Gap workshops
KDD discussions (you re already handling these)

Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical design

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance MDG Tool.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
