  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience or equivalent is required and preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • You must be bilingual in Spanish (reading and writing)
  • You have outstanding communication skills and presenting (Training) information to an audience is exciting to you.
  • You are knowledgeable in local, state and federal employment laws.
  • Ability to have fun!

What would my job responsibilities be?

As the Manager of People and Culture you will assist and report directly to the Director of People and Culture with responsibilities in all aspects of human resources responsibilities including benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, career development of staff, wage & hour compliance, training, workers’ compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.

  • Using your genuine and authentic personality you create an open door environment for any employee to feel welcome and comfortable when needing assistance.
  • Understanding people’s situations and feelings and taking actions to make it the   best experience ever for our employees.
  • Create strong and open communication relationships with all levels of resort managers and employees.
  • You have the strong ability to be aware and present in supporting the operational departments when needed. Investing in development of staff and managers. You are confident in providing coaching and feedback to all levels of resort personnel.
  • You are a brave problem solver with the highest level of hospitality mentality and professionalism resolving employee issues and concerns.
  • A committed team player.
  • This position is mostly Monday - Friday with possible weekends or evenings as business operations are needed.
