About the Brand Strategy & Creative Team at Walmart Connect
We are a team of passionate creatives, copywriters, and brand marketers. We lead brand narratives and initiatives, sales enablement, product commercialization, and the voice, look and feel of Walmart Connect. You’ll make an impact by:
- Creative Brief Development: Develops and/or reviews creative briefs for initiative/campaigns and socializes with creative team and/or agency partners. Creates tactical plans based on briefs. Reviews target audience, objectives, budget and timeline for all initiatives within a project. Reviews and provides feedback on creative.
- Marketing Strategy: In partnership with Product Marketing, helps draft B2B marketing strategy, Product GTM materials and ensures alignment with Walmart Connect's overall business strategy and brand objectives; socializes strategy with other marketing leaders and associates. Represents marketing plans in cross-functional venues like team meetings. Shares innovative ways to differentiate Walmart Connect products in the marketplace through content and creative in marketing materials and on walmartconnect.com. Mines partner industry research, gleans insights and makes recommendations regarding Walmart Connect's brand position and ongoing maintenance plan.
- Writing: Writes first draft of product narratives, case studies, key pitch material and sales presentations, other marketing collateral as needed. Reviews materials written by others to ensure brand voice, creative is on brand.
- Marketing Initiative Implementation and Management: Manages most or all aspects of Product Marketing sales enablement initiatives. Drives growth in new advertiser acquisition, advertiser retention and conversion rates through content and creative. Reviews and approves communications and marketing collateral to ensure consistent advertiser experience and improved effectiveness. Provides input into the brand creation and development strategy and leads the development of enduring brand messages for a straightforward campaign or product.
- Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Vertical Brand Strategy, Marketing Activation, Client Solutions, Sales) to execute marketing materials, pitch decks, case studies, and ensure consistent brand messages across all channels. Identifies, collects and shares critical information with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure exceptional execution.
- Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying advertiser and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 2 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 4 years' experience in marketing or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years’ experience in product marketing, digital media, AdTech, or other related field, developing creative briefs, marketing collateral and narratives.
- Strong writing skills
