What would you do?

You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.The Record to Report team helps clients and organizations in their operational efficiency and balance sheet integrity, cuts time to close and safeguards compliance with regulatory requirements. The areas where this team's expertise lies is in posting journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing entries and reconciliations, preparing cash forecasting statement, supporting month end closing, preparing reports and supports in audits. The Financial Tracking and Reporting team focuses on providing the financial controls and reporting in order to effectively manage CFM activities. This includes providing project-level cost and expense reporting, invoice generation and tracking, project financial tracking, reporting and analytics. The role requires a good understanding of general ledger, balance sheet, statutory reporting, client reporting, fund reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FPNA), budgeting and forecasting. The Incumbent will be responsible for end to end management of RTR function, working as individual contributor and performing the activities as General Accounting, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, BS Review, Financial Reporting, Closing and consolidation, Master Data Maintenance, Tax Reporting, Royalties and Intercompany Accounting.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirement of all national and/or regional laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Ensure completion of month-end and year-end RTR activities accurately and on time, facilitating compliance with all financial reporting deadlines and control policies
• Assist in resolving complex or sensitive requests from senior management.

What are we looking for?

• Written and verbal communication
• Minimum 10+ years of RTR experience
• 5-6 years of team handling experience, in F&A operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Advanced knowledge of RTR concepts and applications
• Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting policies / GAAP
• Strong understanding of RTR metrics and SLAs and the factors that influence them
• Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP / Blackline)
• Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (Excel/Word/PPT)
• Ability to interact with customers to ensure a high quality of service, while balancing expectations and realizations
• Broad mix of operational and functional experiences with a sound understanding of risks and issues that impact global service delivery and operations, particularly in AP
• Must be able to communicate ideas both orally and in writing to influence others through one-on-one conversations, formal presentations, and group discussions
• Prior experience in conceptualizing, planning & driving automations through RPA/AI tools
• Flexibility to work in shifts in a 24X7 environment
• Ability to establish strong client relationship
• Ability to handle disputes.
• Interaction with global teams to ensure effective delivery of reports, work products, support to regions and response to queries
• Participate in the fiscal close in accordance with the defined close calendar
• Work with supervisor to define KPIs & service-level agreements (SLAs) and establish realistic targets
• Monitor process and operational KPIs to ensure effective delivery against targets and benchmarks
• Drive control procedures and practices to ensure no control deficiencies in the AP delivery function
• Identify, support, and lead RTR improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies and improved controls
• Manage required and appropriate reporting to facilitate informed decision making (e.g. variance analysis)
• Support external audit and SOX/internal audit requests
• Support regional leadership through business partnering by providing metrics, problem resolution, and reporting process performance
• Remain up to date on RTR-related policies and regulations of all areas (i.e. territories) in-scope
