The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will lead and inspire a talented team for for multiple Resort food & beverage outlets. We are looking for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.

The Opportunity:

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will work closely with the Assistant Director and Director of Food & Beverage to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality. They will enjoy leading a team of passionate restaurant professionals by selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching. This leader will attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will have the ability to describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to a distinctive dining experience.

What We Look For:

Ideal candidates will have at least three years of management experience within food & beverage operations. The leader in this role will have the ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns, or special requests for guests. Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting as well as operating food & beverage computer systems is required. Ability to follow Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures is a must. Excellent knowledge of product, strong communication skills - written and verbal and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Some additional preferred qualifications for the role include a college degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management, flexible schedule, with ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays and experience working in a union environment.
