We are currently seeking a highly motivated Micro-Electronics Intern with a strong background in ASIC and SoC design. The intern will assist our engineering team in developing and testing innovative microelectronic systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of ASIC and SoC architectures.
Collaborate with senior engineers on the verification and validation of microelectronic designs.
Participate in schematic capture, layout design, and simulation of integrated circuits.
Support the integration and testing of hardware and firmware components.
Conduct research and development activities to improve existing designs and processes.
Document design specifications, test procedures, and results.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with ASIC and SoC design and development.
Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
Understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
Proficiency in hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog.
Knowledge of FPGA design and implementation is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Must be US Citizen and eligible to obtain DoD security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with system-level design and modeling using tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
Knowledge of signal processing and embedded systems.
Familiarity with low-power design techniques and optimization.
Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and technology nodes.
