Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our web application's front-end using React. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from designing and implementing the front-end user interface to building the back-end services and infrastructure

About The Team:

The EPA team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the underlying platform that supports the development, deployment, and operation of software applications. The team provides critical infrastructure, tools, and resources that enable software developers to build and deploy applications more efficiently and effectively.

Core Responsibilities

· Develop new user-facing features using React.js and related technologies (Redux, React Router, etc.)

· Build reusable React components and front-end libraries for future use

· Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, optimized code

· Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across all layers of the stack

· Collaborate with back-end engineers to design and implement RESTful APIs

· Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality

· Participate in all aspects of the agile software development lifecycle, including planning, design, and deployment

· Identify and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing both front-end and back-end components

· Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and best practice

Primary Skills (must have)

· 2+ years of experience as a full-stack web developer

· Proficient in React.js and related front-end technologies (Redux, React Router, etc.)

· Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

· Experience building responsive, mobile-first web applications

· Familiarity with RESTful API design and development

· Proficient in at least one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go)

· Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns

· Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or Cypress · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

Secondary Skills (desired)

· Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) using frameworks like Next.js

· Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes

· Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

· Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 2 years of experience in software development or a related field
• 2 years of experience in frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js)
• 2 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
• 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
• 2 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
• 2 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
• 2 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
• 2 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
• 2 years of experience working with source code control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools
• 2 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
• Strong understanding of backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express, Spring)
• Experience with cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
