Senior Designer - Europe

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

You are the creative who sets the pace.  The Senior Designer coordinates, guides and executes the print promo cycle artwork that you’ll find in our stores and forecourts across Europe.

You join us at an exciting time.  We’re bringing print design services in-house and establishing Circle K’s own internal creative agency. We’re busy setting up creative a hub in Europe, with responsibility for all print signage artwork for our stores and forecourts across Europe now sitting with our own team of designers and traffic managers. You’ll be involved in helping build from the ground up, assembling a team of designers and working closely with our business units as they join the project.

Working closely with wider Global Marketing team, Brand team and European Creative Hub, you will oversee all projects, ensuring that European print artwork is delivered on time and on brand. You have extensive experience in retail marketing design already and understand the rhythm and time-pressure of the monthly promo cycle.  You can direct and motivate your team, building positivity into everything you do to bring out the best in people. The importance of relationship building is key to how you get things done. Developing relationships with stakeholders and cultivating a strong network that helps you deliver each and every time is second nature, and you encourage your team to do the same.

You’ve worked with brands before so you’re the ultimate brand guardian, stoically championing the importance of our global brand and POP guidelines, templates and consistency. Reporting direct to Global Lead Designer and working in daily partnership with the Traffic Manager, you lead by example with common sense and initiative which makes problem-solving a doddle for you. You’re probably the sort of person who’s pretty good at solving a Rubik’s Cube.
