Responsibilities

The Opportunity

 

The Procurement Finance Junior Manager role is the primary finance partner and advisor of the Global Procurement & Agro team across Mexico and Brazil

  • It is responsible for leading & planning the Mexico and Brazil Commodities, Utilities & CoPack inflation process for Early AOP/PSP, AOP & Forecast ($1.6 B Spend)
  • Lead & coordinate the monthly, quarterly & AOP commodities status review with operating units finance groups
  • Main responsible for driving and financial approving the Commodities, CoPack GP & Agro productivity initiatives or projects ($48 MM)
  • Lead the Mexico and Brazil Directs Procurement Finance processes leading a team that includes 2 directs reports
  • Plan & deliver the monthly & quarterly Net Commodity Inflation to Global or Corporate which serves to the earnings release reports
  • Establish, align and track the playbooks of our key raw materials according to Global Procurement & Commodity Risk Management guidance
  • Control & anticipate any deviation to our AOP commodities costs to the business & finance groups to address mitigation plans

Your Impact

 

As a Procurement Finance Jr Manager – PMF & Brazil your scope would consist of:

  • Lead & plan the PMF & Brazil Commodities Net Commodity Inflation build-up for Early AOP, AOP and forecast according to Global Procurement Finance in PMF abd Brazil
  • Coordinate the Net commodity inflation actuals & forecast explaining main variation drivers (monthly)
  • Direct & coordinate the monthly, quarterly & AOP commodities status review with operating units finance groups
  • Authorize or approve the Directs/Commodities GP and Agro Productivity initiatives ($48 MM)
  • Plan & deliver the Net Commodity Inflation and Productivity Status to Global Procurement Finance (Corporate) in a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Direct & coordinate the Forex sensitivity analysis across Mexico and Brazil operating units to anticipate any risk or opportunity to the business
  • Deliver & coordinate the Commodities Forward sensitivity analysis to anticipate any risk or opportunity
  • Establish, align and track the playbooks of our key raw materials according to Global Procurement & Commodity Risk Management guidance
  • Manage a continuously partnership with Procurement and Agro Teams to increase understanding, control, accuracy and identify risks & opportunities within Directs categories
  • Deliver the monthly KPI’s for Procurement scorecard in a monthly basis

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

 

Education

  • Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Business or Finance/ MBA preferred

Experience

  • 5 to 6 years of experience mainly in FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Sales Finance or Cost Management

  • Financial acumen, and knowledge of commodity markets and hedging programs

  • Advanced proficiency business English both oral and written, including technical lexicon

  • Proven record in delivering strategic change, results and customer expectations

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
