Software Developer - Entry - Huntsville, AL

Leidos Dynetics is seeking an entry Software Developer/Engineer to join a talented team within the RF Systems Portfolio. Candidates in this role will be a part of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and analysts supporting advanced radar systems research and development in a high-fidelity modeling and simulation environment. Candidates will be expected to design, develop, optimize, test, deploy, and maintain software as a part of small teams leveraging Agile methods in a DevOps environment. Areas of support will include radar back-end software development, digital signal processing, distributed micro-service / open architecture development, high-fidelity modeling and simulation, and algorithm prototyping.

Primary Responsibilities

The candidate will support software design, integration, testing, and analysis activities. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented design, data structures, parallel algorithm development, distributed architecture development, and networking.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Experience with C++ and Git.

• Must be able to obtain DoD SECRET security clearance- US Citizenship required.

• Candidate must be able to work onsite in Huntsville, AL to support this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux and Python experience.

• Master of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Experience in the design, development, and testing of digital radar models and simulations.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00
