Responsibilities
- Approve Requisitions and Create Purchase Orders: Approve requisitions from requisitioners and create/modify standard/blanket purchase orders.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Source vendors, maintain vendor resources, and perform supplier maintenance.
- Purchase Order Management: Receive and close out purchase orders in the computer system.
- Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile P-Cards on a monthly basis and run various reports.
- Quotation and Cost Analysis: Maintain quotation files and review items for purchasing, performing a 3-way price comparison for cost-effective tactics.
- Cost Reduction Programs: Continuously improve cost reduction efforts and develop cost reduction programs.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Project spending into future time slots to assist department managers in forecasting accounts.
- Communication and Coordination: Ensure effective communication between sub-account owners for bulk ordering of items common to multiple departments.
- Contract Utilization: Understand and utilize regional and national contracts.
- Task Management: Assess priorities and accomplish tasks in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,000 - $67,000 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years of previous experience in a financial analyst or similar role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other financial software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
