Who you will work with
Based in Lisbon, you will join our Service Design & Innovation team, part of the global Visual Graphics & Media function.
You will help develop user-centric design concepts by participating in user research and usability testing, understanding user behavior, facilitating workshops, delivering final Figma files for development, and co-creating features while working closely with other members of the design team and the product owner.
What you will do
You will prepare and conduct activities around primary user research and usability testing with design prototypes. You will compile, cluster, and analyze findings from user research, as well as analyze metrics to glean insights on user behavior. Also, you will ideate and facilitate workshops using design thinking principles.
You will co-create and lead the solution of a product area (e.g., reservations, request submission). On occasion, you will also work on Product MVP definition with the Service Design and Product teams when needed. You will create and iterate on use cases based on user-centered design thinking. You will conceptualize new features to include in the product and deliver the final Figma files for implementation while coordinating with the Development team. Moreover, you will produce artifacts for stakeholders in order to ensure the final deliverables are aligned with the overall business goals under the direction of the Product Owner.
You will prepare materials and lead experience reviews for cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for collaborating with teams consisting of Product Owners, Service Designers, Front- and Back-end Engineers, and User Researchers to execute user-centric design concepts. You will support product development activities and prioritization of features within service and product roadmaps. You will establish acceptance criteria of design standards for implementing services and products.
Your background
- 7+ years of experience in product design and product delivery
- Experience with the product development process and Agile methodologies
- Fluent in English
- Extensive knowledge of Figma, Miro, and similar tools
- Proven track record in creating and maintaining design systems
- Good sense of design language and principles and up-to-date knowledge about usability and best practices
- Ability to work on ambiguous concepts that require critical thinking and research on unknown topics
- Experience in working iteratively from POC, MVP, and scale
- Experience working in Agile Scrum and Kanban
- Structured and logical thinking with strong systems thinking capability
- Experience collaborating with remote and engineering teams
- Technical knowledge and awareness are excellent to have
