Software Engineer III - Sunnyvale, CA

Position: Software Engineer III 

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086  

Duties: Develop AMP 2.0 web application as task management tool that allows associates and managers to track and coordinate tasks. Develop front-end portion of the application that includes user navigation and capturing user inputs. Develop back-end service that powers the landing page of the web application. Utilize performance tuning and analytics tools like Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor and identify application performance issues and provide solutions. Track and analyze problems for the application and carry out regression testing to fix defects in all instances of code changes. Create and maintain continuous integration and developments using Git. Understand business requirements for the product and work collaboratively with other teams to deliver the product.  Work collaboratively with other team members, product owners in an agile development lifecycle methodology. Develop mobile version of the AMP service. Perform on-call duties which monitor the health status of the production environment. 

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills. 

Skills required: Experience with web development using ReactJS, HTML, and CSS. Experience with front-end component architecture design and optimization using state management tools. Experience with end-to-end testing and unit testing. Experience designing and testing AWS DynamoDB or Azure CosmosDB. Experience designing and implementing back-end services using NodeJS. Experience developing highly scalable full-stack applications. Experience coding in SQL languages. Experience coding in JavaScript object-oriented programming language. Experience with code development using version control tool Git. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills. 

Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
