What you'll do...

Position: Manager Automation Engineer  

 

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066 

 

Duties: Partner with multiple stakeholders to successfully deliver online pick up delivery orders to customers. Develop and validate Automated Market Fulfillment Center (Auto MFC) process flows using Confluence and Visio. Deliver detailed training plans to launch Manual and Automated MFC using Confluence and MS PowerPoint. Integrate automated processes with store operations. Defined and simplified processes for associates at stores by identifying gaps. Work closely with process engineering teams to define ways of working for MFC associates. Drive support for operations on MFC sites for training plans, execution, and associate feedback. Support system integration for automated stores. Guide vendor management supporting MFC Store launches. Support procurement as required launching MFC Stores. Develop a leadership playbook to launch MFC sites using Confluence. Develop countdown to launch training activities using Excel before a site can go live. Drive feedback loop between operations and 3rd party contractors as well as newly acquired companies. Conduct training content review for Auto MFC using Excel. Create training content using ULearn Learning Management System and MS PowerPoint platform. Create playbooks using Confluence. Use JIRA ticketing software report and resolve issues on site. Create process flow charts using Visio. Analyze data by using Power BI, SQL, and Tableau. Define process flows using Atlas Inventory Management tool and Figma supporting inventory management. Operationally deliver best products using Global Integrated Fulfillment system. Use Console to operate automated systems. Guide Project Manage training for MFC Launches. Responsible for training operational leadership before MFC store launches. Define training development and deployment strategies including process enhancements. Responsible for training cross functional partners on MFC processes. Responsible for providing feedback in making changes to the engineering drawings. This position does not supervise other employees.  

 

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any) or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area. 

 

Skills required: Experience with MS Office, Bluebeam Revu, and AutoCAD. Experience with System Integration. Experience with Learning Management System. Experience with vendor management, procurement, and negotiations. Experience with Supply Chain Management and Continuous Process Improvements, Risk Management, Training, and Quality Control. Experience with automated systems. Experience with Data Representations (including SQL, Power Bi, and Microsoft Tableau). Experience with Inventory Management. Experience with project management and strategic planning. Experience with Six Sigma, Change Management, Digital Transformations, Automation Integration, and Automation System Design. Experience with Process Flow Design using Visio. Experience designing and detailing engineering drawings. Experience with project planning and execution. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. 

 

Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
