Job Description Template Role: LINUX Level 9 Job Title: LINUX Admin Lead Career Level: D Entity: Cloud Operation Must Have: ? 7+ Years in managing and maintaining Linux-based systems deployed within the cloud environment. ? Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, deployments and ensuring security compliance. ? Knowledge and expertise of Pacemaker Clusters. ? Good exposure to different flavors of LINUX . Especially SUSE, REDHAT ? Good Exposure on patching and vulnerability remediations. ? Good analytical and troubleshooting skills on Linux ? Performance management and Network troubleshooting. ? Hands on experience on GCP/Microsoft Azure/AWS platform ? Handling Operational RUN support for Cloud servers. ? Knowledge on Ticketing tools – Service Now preferred. Knowledge on Incident, Problem and change management. Professional Requirements: ? ? Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or Engineer, with a focus on cloud environments. ? Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. ? Good Team Management skills and knowledge of ITIL processes ? Flexibility to work in rotating shifts(24x7) / weekend supports as per Client demands. Good to have: ? Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines ? Automation using Ansible, Terraform ? Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management. ? Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ? Knowledge on SUSE SMT server/Satellite Configuration and Management. ?
