Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to clients and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and applications. Your typical day will involve interfacing with clients, accurately defining and resolving issues, and utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Windows Server Administration and Vmware Virtualization Administration. Roles & Responsibilities: A. Provision on ESXi clusters, ESXi host patching B. Ensure performance, security, and availability of resources in Vcenter clusters C. Prepare documentations and specifications D. Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. E. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary F. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Professional & Technical Skills: -A. Strong proficiency in Server Hardware Knowledge Vxrail, Vxrack B. Knowledge in Service now ticketing tool. C. Vendor coordination with VMware, HP, Dell, Nutanix, Microsoft. D. Decent experience with recent versions of VMware E. Knowledge in Nutanix / Prism F. Knowledge in Vcenter appliances G. Knowledge in Platform service controllers Professional Experience • Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization • Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision. • Willing to work in Shifts. • Willing ness to work in multiple technologies Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
