Project Role : Application Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description : Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.
Must have skills : IBM WebSphere MQ & Message Broker Administration, Apache Tomcat Administration

Job Summary: • Responsible for the overall day-to-day hands on Apache MQ and IBM MQ/MB support. Key Responsibilities: A. Provision MQ/MB instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations B. Ensure performance, security, and availability of MQ/MB Components C. Prepare documentations and specifications D. Handle common MQ/MB procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc. E. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders Technical Responsibilities: A. Should have 3 to 4 years’ experience in Installing Configuring IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker. B. Experience in Setting up High availability clusters and Security for WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker servers. C. Expertise in troubleshooting the critical production issues and getting them resolved quickly D. Expertise in Administering Performance Tuning in IBM WebSphere MQ and Broker. E. Experienced in setting up SSL across the MQ and Broker environments and maintaining the certificates F. Experience in writing Bash Shell Scripts, Crontab Scripting for automated recycle of WebSphere MQ and Broker servers and day to day tasks G. Strong understanding of OS related dependencies Professional Attributes: A: Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization B: Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision Education Qualification: A: Higher Level Qualification in a technical subject is desirable Additional Information: : Strong written & oral communication skills. B: Should be open to work in shifts.
