Summary: As a MySQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and availability of MySQL databases. Your typical day will involve monitoring database performance, optimizing queries, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and implement MySQL database solutions that meet business requirements and ensure high availability, performance, and security. - Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance. - Optimize queries and database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions align with business needs and integrate with other systems. - Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in MySQL database administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Network Analytics. - Expertise in database design, implementation, and maintenance. - Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of database security best practices and experience in implementing security measures. - Experience in database backup and recovery procedures. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in MySQL database administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
