Our team Spotlight is a complete enterprise solution for Planning, Creating, Managing and Executing offers within all selling channels, while also providing analysis of offer performance/measurement. Our tool will enable Lowes to make data driven decision about future offers, while having the ability to seamlessly integrate with Digital Experience, Marketing and all other partner systems for all offer related information. Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer you will serve as a technical leader for your team. You will collaborate with technical and product leadership across the enterprise to recommend, build, own and manage the solution stack for your products. You have deep technical skills and aptitude to build products and solutions from scratch. You will help establish best practices, coding standards and will enforce design patterns to build sustainable products. You will mentor your team members and will help eliminate knowledge silos.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Translates user stories and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions in an agile environment.

• Collaborates with key stakeholders including product management, infrastructure and security to ensure that functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs.

• Develops, configures, or modifies complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based applications.

• Validates and executes BDD scenarios to identify application errors and ensure software solutions meet functional specifications.

• Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications by packaging solutions for deployment.

• Supports end-to-end test automation and other application testing efforts to ensure product quality.

• Mentors others by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.

Years of Experience

• 5 to 8 years in backend application development.

Education Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

• 5+ years of experience in software development or a related field 

• 4+ years of experience in database technologies

• 4+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Skill Set Required

• Experience developing and implementing complex business systems within an organisation.

• Experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment

• Experience working in an AGILE environment having exposure to SCRUM/XP practice

• Proficient in a front-end technology and framework - JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, OOJS, ECMA Script5, HTML5, CSS, LESS, SASS, Bootstrap and Responsive web design

• Experience building responsive and scalable UIs using micro frontend approach

• Expert in design principles and patterns, low-level to high-level software design and building full stack application by applying modern architecture

• Strong advocate of test-driven and behavioral-driven development using test automation framework like, Cucumber, Rest assured, Cypress.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Must have DevOps mindset and proficient in a CI/CD toolchain like Git, Jenkins, Sonar

• Good understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
