Position background

In the GTM analytics COE our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.

As part of our cyber security team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our assets meet HP Cyber Security requirements as well you will work closely with our Cloud Infrastructure and Platform teams to assess and implement cyber security solutions which ensures our systems are protected.

What you will do

  • Regularly patch servers (EC2 instances or on-premises servers), EKS clusters and its components (add-ons) by coordinating with Cloud Infrastructure and Platform teams to make sure running applications are not impacted.
  • Fix vulnerabilities reported by HP Cybersecurity and make follow-ups with them.
  • Working closely with Cloud Infrastructure team to integrate security best practices into cloud deployment or application pipelines.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments to make sure we are compliant the HP Cyber Security requirements and the common standards.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and other security features to protect data in the cloud.
  • Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in cloud security and recommend new security technologies and techniques.

What you will need

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an information security or cloud security role.
  • Good foundation in information systems security and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of AWS and cloud security architecture best practices.
  • Knowledge of the application security, DevSecOps and the ability to apply these guidelines in a practical context.
  • Experience using CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure deployments or automated security configurations.
  • Good understanding of container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS.
  • Master of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
