Role Mandate:

The SWAT team is responsible for executing the end to end process in merchandising, marketing and operations for renovations, conversions and new store builds.

Role Requirements:

  • 1 year retail experience with good operational knowledge
  • Must be able to work in various locations around the province, but not limited to one city or area
  • Mobile and ability to work flexible hours – over 40 hours if required, potential 10 days on with 4 days off and night shift
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High organizational skills and ability to multi task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sometimes-unpredictable environment
  • Must be able to work nights, evenings, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays
  • A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle would be an asset
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints and merchandising layouts (will train)
  • Must be able to understand all timelines for each project are met and are adhered to
  • Ensure pricing integrity is implemented for store opening
  • Product availability for the customers which including merchandising and back filling for all applicable departments
  • Ensure that all correct pricing and labels are in place
  • Ensure that there is a clean and safe environment during a renovation for our customers
  • Execute merchandising programs including ownership for maintenance, communication and execution of planograms
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.  Act as a liaison between the company, your customers and the community
  • Must be able to lift 25 lb and be able to stand/work on your feet for your allotted shift
  • Safety equipment must be adhered to all the time which includes steel toed shoes/boots and hard helmet (will be supplied if necessary)
  • An understanding of company computer programs would be an asset
  • Execution of all backroom initiatives which includes flow of goods
  • First Aid training an asset
