Support the delivery and maintenance of Robotic Process Automations (RPA) process automation initiatives, monitoring, as well as issue troubleshooting and resolution. Blue Prism Cloud environment administration (running processes, maintaining resource PCs, viewing logs, etc.) via the RPA Control Room. Test changes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first line support for the Blue Prism processes monitoring Blue Prism process, troubleshooting issues, and recommend solutions. Understand the business requirements, needs, and expectations to assess options.  Maintain solution documentation
  • Document changes as part of a structured change control process.
  • Participate in code review and test RPA development and enhancements
  • Configure Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, and maintainable. 
  • Communicate with Blue Prism on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the Blue Prism community
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field                 

Certifications & Licenses

  • none

Experience

  • RPA intern or work experience
  • Solid end user computing skills, such as intermediate spreadsheet skills
  • Blue Prism software experience is a plus
  • Coding or databases is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Willingness and ability to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes in the Blue Prism product
  • Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
  • An understanding and knowledge of software delivery methodologies (i.e. AGILE, Waterfall, V Model).
  • An understanding of formal change control procedures and disciplines
  • Cognitive Ability including reason, plan, identify problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly, learn from experience, and appropriately apply learning to new situations.
  • Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives
  • Ability to create clear reports and data visualizations to assist others in decision-making and problem analysis
  • Conversant in technical discipline acumen
  • Must have a positive attitude, a drive to continually advance your understanding of the industry and business, and is highly self-motivated
  • Ability to build professional and trusting business relations
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
  • Proficient MS Office Suite skills
