General Accounting practices The Financial Tracking and Reporting team focuses on providing the financial controls and reporting in order to effectively manage CFM activities. This includes providing project-level cost and expense reporting, invoice generation and tracking, project financial tracking, reporting and analytics. The role requires a good understanding of general ledger, balance sheet, statutory reporting, client reporting, fund reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FPNA), budgeting and forecasting.
What are we looking for? • 2 or more years of experience in data, finance, or business analysis • Accounting or Finance degree is required - CA/MBA or equivalent • Experience in the Insurance industry and knowledge of financial services is preferred. • Ability to collaborate effectively and work closely with cross-functional teams and management to accomplish objectives. • Well organized, highly detailed, quantitative skills and strong focus on accuracy
Roles and Responsibilities: •- Strong Knowledge on IFRS 17 and Yellow Book submission - Preparation of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss accounts and Cash Flows for Domestic companies as per NAIC Instructions. - Responsible for the Stat close on a quarterly and annual basis. - GAAP and Stat Analysis - Prepare the deck of analytics for Balance- Sheet and state Income to be present to BODs. - Analysis of quarterly and annual movements in financial statements of combined pool and Eaglestone. - Work closely with various department specifically Investments, actuarial, Reinsurance and tax dept.; need to check accuracy of data and handle queries. - Exposure in identifying Non routine transactions including impact on financials - Knowledge of insurance accounting and reporting, ability to analyze data for inaccuracies and drive corrections to processes
