Position: Staff Technical Program Manager 

 

Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030 

 

Duties: Develop and own the Leadership of the Developer Platform’s Operational Excellence (OE) Process for meetings, metrics, and reporting. Manage the end-to-end incident process, including xMatters Notifications, Incident Responses, ServiceNow Incidents, and Resolution tracking for the OE Process and Problem Resolution Space. Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the Business Apps Platforms. Manage the Contact Center (CC) and IVR Programs using product backlog management tools like Jira and Confluence for the planning, execution, and release transparency and implementation of full the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Define non-functional requirements deployed for platforms, MLS, MMS, Spotlight, and xMatters (paging tool) for P0/P1. Interact with Walmart Application Development Teams, Product Owners, Leaders, and Executive Sponsors for team communications and escalations. Develop detailed project plans and breakdown work with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, deliverables, and dates. Work with engineering teams to define clear program scopes and schedules. Develop and understand end-to-end cloud product ecosystems. Leverage understanding of SSO, architecture, capacity management, containers, telemetry and application management, high vulnerabilities, and deployments to support Operational excellence (OE) tickets and processes. Manage stakeholders and related agreements and perform retrospectives to facilitate continuous improvements in delivery. Develop and manage programs that support application migrations to clouds and leverage understanding of security, CI/CD, technical escalations, and private and public cloud managed services on Azure, GCP, and Openstack Kubernetes platform. Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product area in support of corporate goals and objectives. Help teams with technology component decompositions and Service Now decompositions. Execute plans, feedback loops, and transparency. This position does not supervise employees. 

 

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), Computer Information Systems, or related area and 3 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Any), Computer Information Systems, or related area and 5 years of experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area. 

 

Skills required: Experience engineering software solutions and deploying them to public and private cloud platforms. Experience managing the delivery of cloud solutions utilizing Container based and Orchestration techniques including Docker and Kubernetes. Experience creating Real-Time analytic dashboards for leadership using Grafana, Prometheus, and Tableau. Experience leading engineers in the development and implementation of multiple software programs using Jira, ServiceNow, Change Control, and DevOps for program success. Experience implementing project management techniques to bring in process by leveraging models including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, ITIL, and Scaled Agile. Experience implementing Conflict Resolution and Build and Release Management to avoid blockers. Experience implementing security policies and assessments on infrastructure, applications, and cloud solutions. Experience improving Cloud Service through the Operational Excellence (OE) process. Experience implementing threat modelling and executing attack surface analysis, secure designs, and Vulnerability Assessments and Identification. Experience managing firewall and security changes in public clouds and private clouds. Experience developing automatic deprovisioning and provisioning, access review, and access approval workflows. Experience implementing frameworks to support cloud security, user account audits, elevated accounts, and access management. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
