HP IT System Engineer

Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for supporting the business analysis and quality assurance activities in accordance with solution development methodology and supporting projects. The role supports in end-to-end project execution, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring tasks assignment and completion; creates and maintains project artifacts, and ensures appropriate definition and execution of user acceptance test. The role supports reporting and analytical function necessary for the accurate maintenance of the solutions.

Responsibilities
• Participates as a member of development team and performs complex analysis of functional or business requirements.
• Completes code stubs prepared by senior developers.
• Applies advanced technical knowledge to maintain a technology area (e.g. Database Administration).
• Applies HP and 3rd party technologies to infrastructure and software solutions of moderate complexity.
• Implements end-user or enterprise infrastructure or services prepared by senior technologist.
• Prepares and conducts unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the software.
• Works closely with other members of the development team, such as architects, designers, and testers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimizes software performance to ensure efficient and responsive applications.
• Participates in the design and architecture of software applications to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
• Works in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, and delivering incremental software updates.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Two-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer engineering with experience in software development in Windows or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in software programming languages in Windows, testing tools, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
