About the Sustainability Services Marketing Team

To meet the changing needs of our clients and drive progress on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, Accenture continues to expand and evolve our portfolio of Sustainability Services. The team is responsible for developing and managing an integrated marketing strategy to help grow Accenture’s Sustainability Services business around the world by imagining, spearheading, and executing programs that help create profitable growth and enhance our position as one of the world’s leading companies in that space. 

Position Description

Working as part of Accenture’s Sustainability Services Marketing + Communications team, this position will be responsible for internal and external marketing and communications activities that support key business priorities.

We are looking for a marketing and communications professional who can effectively influence and collaborate across Accenture. In this role, you must be able to understand, analyze and communicate Accenture’s sustainability priorities and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

While there is never a typical day at Accenture, and that’s the beauty of it, here are a few highlights about the role:

  • Help devise & deliver a marketing program & calendar of activities to support our Sustainability Services growth themes and associated Solution Tablets. 

  • Manage Sustainability Services Solution Tablet launches, activation and regular enhancements, and industry tablet integration.

  • Oversee Sustainability Services client story development, in collaboration with the Stories team.

  • Manage Sustainability Services acquisition marketing activities, in collaboration with the V&A team.

  • Manage Sustainability Services A.com page updates and performance tracking.

  • Support analyst response support and promotion, working with Analyst Relations.

  • Keep the solution/capability narrative up to date, integrating new acquisition capabilities when needed.

  • Manage marketing programs aligned with priority ecosystem partners.

  • Creation of new marketing/sales enablement materials (including baseline materials) to help our teams sell our solutions.

  • Understanding of priority assets and demos to amplify through our marketing programs.

  • Help identify thought capital gaps for consideration e.g., research, articles, deep dives, POVs.

  • Help identify and prioritize external events & speaking opportunities to reach our target buyers. Support when required.

  • Leverage budget and workflow using relevant tools (e.g., SynOps) to support strategic planning, marketing operations, budgeting and reporting.

  • Other special projects as needed

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in marketing, communications or related)

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and communications or related field—experience in a large, global organization is highly desirable. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English including the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively directly with senior executives.

  • Ability to digest complex issues and topics and communicate them in a way that is easily understood by a broad audience.

  • High standards for design and visual presentation especially in PowerPoint. 

  • Excellent Digital, Social Media and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with “Weekend Language.”

  • Strong organizational, program and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects.

  • Able to work collaboratively, effectively and independently and at speed across functional and geographic groups.

  • Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills. 

  • Ability to work virtually, in the office and travel if required.

  • Willingness to participate in meetings outside of regular business hours to accommodate business leaders in other time zones.

  • Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries.
