Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Captain adds a layer of accountability, support and knowledge for less-experienced employees and holds a section in the Restaurant.
Working as a peer of the service staff
Provides genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as host/hostess in the work area. Keeps abreast of events in the hotel and promotes services and products.
Is visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle special requests for guests.
Works closely with the supervisors, assistant managers, managers and chefs to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year as a Server in a luxury 5 star hotel
Strong guest service experience
Ability to work well and maintain organization in a fast paced environment
Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
Excellent ability to read and speak and write English.
Knowledge of International language is an added advantage
